I’m Tiffany Miguel, the proud founder and director of Splash Aquademy, one of South Africa’s best swim schools and the only one in the world offering a money-back guarantee. As an educator, mentor, and visionary. I’ve dedicated my life to transforming water safety education, especially in underserved communities. My work empowers children, teens, and adults with life-saving swim skills, while uplifting and training unemployed youth across South Africa. Known as “the Black Mermaid,” my connection to water began as a child naval cadet with TS Bounty on the Vaal River. After leaving a demanding corporate marketing career to be more present for my son, I discovered a new calling in swim instruction and built a powerful business rooted in inclusion, impact, and transformation. My journey is about more than swimming—it's about transformation. I believe everyone, no matter their background, deserves a chance to learn, grow, and succeed.
